Dear Patients,
I am pleased to inform you that we will be seeing patients back in the office starting in May. We will have a new format to ensure that patients and staff are protected from the unwanted transmission of the coronavirus. We will be checking in from the parking lot with the use of your mobile device and we will contact you on the mobile device when it is your turn to come into the office. We are doing this to facilitate social distancing and to ensure that each patient has their own individual space when being seen. Please note that you will need to wear a mask of some kind in the office and that we will be taking your temperature prior to your office visit. Anyone with a temperature over 100°F will not be worked up in the office but will be referred for testing, including a coronavirus swab or blood test.
I am sorry for any inconvenience, but I feel that we are continuing to practice in the safest way possible and in compliance with Federal guidelines. We will, of course, continue to provide services via telemedicine.
We will be expanding the use of our telemedicine services. You will be able to book appointments for telemedicine from 6 PM to 7:30 PM, Mondays through Thursdays, and alternating Saturdays from 9 AM through 12 PM.
Yours truly,
Paul Schwartz, MD
